Case Study: Mountain View, CA

This 3.634 kW solar power system was installed in Santa Clara County.

This residential home had a challenging roof.  The array needed to be faced in two different directions and was of a special type, called Cal Pak. Working with a roofer who was familiar with this specialized roofing type, Solar Technologies was up to the challenge. 

  • The system uses 27 Mitsubishi 165 watt solar panels
  • The array offsets 350,000 lbs of carbon dioxide and 111 lbs. of nitrous oxide over its
    warranted life time.
  • The owners earned a 17% internal rate of return.
